When you make over 400 million pairs of shoes, you have to do your best to protect the environment. Since 2015, adidas has been working with Parley to help create products from recycled ocean products. In the process, the two have created some of the most sought after sneakers on the planet. With adidas’ constantly pushing its 4D technology, it has given Parley the opportunity to put its twist on the next generation of adidas runners.
Originally debuted on the adidas Hong Kong store, the Parley x adidas Ultraboost 4D was a surprise to many sneakerheads. Whilst there was no confirmation on whether or not it was a leak or a mistake, it got the community interested. Well, not it looks like the release is actually happening.
The Parley x adidas Ultraboost 4D is a primarily black sneaker. A deep black Primeknit upper is paired with a 4D midsole unit of the same colour. The sleek appearance of the silhouette is elevated with a hidden set of stripes underneath Parleys famous wave pattern. Turquoise stitches across the upper add a nice colour pop to this sneaker, a signature detail that has remained a staple in Parley designs since 2015.
Whilst there is no official release information just yet, you can expect these to drop soon. Given the hype around past Parley x adidas Ultraboosts, these will be an instant sell-out. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these.
