Earlier this month, we were teased with a possible NERD x adidas NMD Hu. N*E*R*D, the experimental band headed up by Pharrell Williams, is widely regarded as one of the most creative musical trios of all time. As any sneakerhead will know, Pharrell has dropped a number of NERD adidas shoes. To celebrate the bands iconic In Search of… album turning 20, a special adidas NMD Hu has been made.
The special collaborative model is already looking like a must-cop for many. A predominantly Chalk White Primeknit upper features a large “N*E*R*D” logo on the right foot and its Chinese translation on the left foot. The mismatched lining comes in Glow Orange and Clear Mint; both of which contrast each other nicely. On the heel tabs “20” and the band’s logo can be seen representing the anniversary of the seminal record. Finally, two-tone laces, a Chalk White lace cage and a crisp White Boost midsole, complete with Mint sole, bring this NMD Hu to a close.
If you like the look of NERD x adidas NMD Hu then there’s good news. According to sources, the shoe will drop on August 6 for €220. Given the hype around previous NERD NMDs, you can expect these to sell out. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’re feeling these adidas NMD Hus.
