Air Jordan 4 OG 'Georgetown' Releases in February 2027

Air Jordan 4 OG 'Georgetown' Releases in February 2027

Grey and navy is one of the most recognisable colour pairings in college basketball, and Jordan Brand has put it on almost every classic silhouette over the years. The Air Jordan 3, 5, 6 and 1 have all had their 'Georgetown' moment. The Air Jordan 4 OG 'Georgetown' (2027) is the next one in line. The first official images appeared briefly on the size? website on 8 October 2026, before the listing was taken down again.

The connection goes deeper than colours. In the 1982 NCAA Championship, a freshman Michael Jordan hit the jumper that won North Carolina the title against Georgetown, the shot he has often called the start of his career. Today Georgetown is a Jordan Brand school.

What makes the shoe interesting is how little it does. There are no school logos, no special graphics and no extra branding. Grey suede and navy accents are enough to make the connection, and the shoe could easily pass for a Hoyas player exclusive.

Pewter Grey Suede and Nike Air on the Heel

Pewter Grey suede covers almost the entire upper. College Navy picks out the heel tab and the signature wing eyelets, the two details that give the Air Jordan 4 its shape. The speckle on the heel and midsole recalls the Cement details that made the silhouette famous in 1989, and a Jumpman sits on the tongue.

The detail that matters most to collectors sits on the heel: Nike Air branding instead of a Jumpman, printed in speckled grey on the navy heel tab. Jordan Brand usually saves that detail for its OG releases, which puts the 'Georgetown' in the same line as the Air Jordan 4 OG 'Bred' from 2026.

Underneath, an icy translucent outsole with navy rubber finishes the look. The colour blocking stays simple, with the navy hits doing all the talking, which makes it one of the easiest Air Jordan 4s to wear in a while.

The Georgetown Colourway on Jordan and Nike

Georgetown colourways have been a favourite for collectors for years, mostly because they feel like player exclusives that made it to retail. The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Georgetown' (2021) remains one of the best-known, followed by the Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Georgetown' (2023) and the Air Jordan 6 'Georgetown' (2022).

Nike has used the same colours on the Dunk Low and the Air More Uptempo too. With the Air Jordan 4 joining in, the Georgetown line now covers most of the shoes that matter to Jordan collectors.
