A New Chapter for KLEKT
Sean Wotherspoon, co-founder of Round Two, designer of the classic Nike Air Max 97/1, and one of the most influential figures in street culture, is joining KLEKT as Chief Community Curator and investor.
He will be helping shape the cultural direction of the brand as we expand into new categories and new markets while making sure to bring back what makes sneaker culture special.

Street culture drives global fashion but has no trusted home for its second life. KLEKT is building a home for authenticated, pre-loved street culture essentials.
We’ve been doing this since 2013, have reached over $100 million in GMV, and over 2 million users. Under new leadership, we’ve re-entered the UK market and are expanding into new streetwear, collectables, and circular commerce.
Who’s Behind It
Serial entrepreneur Mark Dowds is the new KLEKT CEO, alongside Chief Community Curator Sean Wotherspoon, and advisors like Daniel Kulle, former President of H&M North America and CEO of Forever 21.

When does the campaign start?
The campaign will go live for those with private access on 22 April. Don’t worry, if you miss the window for private access, the campaign will eventually open up to the public on 29 April. But if you want to be one of our first supporters, be sure to mark the dates!
Also, don’t forget to open an account with Republic. You’ll need to open an account at least 24 hours before you want to start putting money in the campaign.
When does the campaign end?
