The Nike Air Max 95 Woven Returns

The Nike Air Max 95 Woven Returns

The Air Max 95 30th anniversary celebrations aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Fresh off a string of sought-after retros and collaborations, Nike is digging into the archives to revive one of the silhouette’s most unique makeovers: the Air Max 95 Woven.

While most Air Max 95 releases lean into Sergio Lozano’s iconic gradient sidewalls, this pair takes a completely different approach. Inspired by the cult-favourite Air Footscape Woven, Nike replaces the traditional layered panels with an intricate woven construction that runs across the upper, creating one of the most distinctive Air Max 95s in recent memory.

The colourway is where things get really interesting. The classic layers of light and dark grey suede provide a neutral backdrop, allowing vibrant strips of yellow, pink, orange, and green fabric to weave through the upper and steal the spotlight. Deep purple accents appear on the mini Swoosh and visible Air units, while multicoloured branding on the tongue and insoles ties everything together.

Long-time Air Max fans will recognise the concept. The Woven Air Max 95 first appeared back in 2019 and quickly developed a cult following thanks to its unconventional construction. Seven years later, Nike is bringing the idea back with updated colour blocking and a more refined execution, giving a new generation of collectors the chance to experience one of the silhouette’s most underrated looks.

The Nike Air Max 95 Woven 'Multi' is set to release on 12 June via Nike and select retailers. Miss out on release day? Be sure to check out the listings available on KLEKT.
