Over the past few years, Aleali May and Jordan Brand have slowly been creating some great sneakers. Since first joining forces back in 2017, there two have dropped a number of classic Jordan silhouettes with an updated twist. Along the way, the two have also gained a lot of respect from the sneaker world. Thankfully, things aren’t stopping any time soon. After a small drop earlier this year, we now have an official look at the Aleali May x Jordan Brand “Califa” collection.
Taking a collegiate inspiration throughout the entire drop, the latest Aleali May x Air Jordan drop is certainly eye-catching. A distinct green, white and blue colour palette has been used throughout and gives this shoe a real American high school look and feel. Apparel consists of a varsity jacket, warm-up pants, a cropped tee with hybrid detailing, a mesh jersey, basketball shorts and a T-shirt with a vintage Michael Jordan graphic on the front.
Of course, the real talking point of this collection is the Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT. Although the shoe may have already received a small release earlier this year, its still got a lot of hype. Featuring the same college hues as the apparel, the Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 uses a combination of leather, satin and chenille on the Wings logo. Given the hype around the first release, we’re sure that this Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT will sell out.
