When it comes to timeless Jordans, few can come close to the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow.” Originally released in 1985, the Jordan 1 “Shadow” was one of the standout colourways of its time. As a neutral offering compared to the “Chicago” inspired versions, it didn’t take long for the Shadows to become a hit. In recent years, we’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” re-release just twice. Well, that looks to be changing. It looks as though we could be seeing an Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” drop next year.
Taking the same iconic combination of grey and black, the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow 2.0” is a simple twist on the OG. Grey suede has been used instead of the traditional black leather found on the original; a subtle addition but one that sets this apart from its muse. The light grey suede can be seen on the mudguard, heel, ankle, collar and Swoosh, with an embossed Wings logo keeping things close to this classic. Black leather has been used on the toe and mid panels, ensuring that this shoe maintains its heritage.
If you like the look of this Jordan 1, you’ve got to wait a little longer. For now, a tentative release date of Spring 2021 has been set with no mention of pricing just yet. Given the premium nature of this shoe, we’d estimate around €160. As always, keep it locked to the KLEKT Blog where we’ll update you on this release. For now, check out the mockup below and let us know if you’d cop these Shadow Jordan 1s.
