The Air Jordan 1 Low has undergone a massive surge in popularity in recent years. Collaborations with Travis Scott and Dior have helped push the Jordan 1 Low into a completely new category. Thankfully, Jordan Brand recognises this. Since 2019, the sportswear giant has been reissuing classic colourways in low top form, covering everything from UNCs to University Red. Now, the “Varsity Red” colour scheme is the latest version to get the Low treatment.
Made famous by the Air Jordan 1 “Varsity Red”, the colourway is a low top version of the limited sneaker. Featuring the same classic colour blocking as its high top cousin, the “Varsity Red” Air Jordan 1 Low is a carefully balanced combination of black and red leather overlays. Replacing the traditional “Nike Air” on the tongue is a Jumpman, whilst the Wings logo decorates the heel.
The Bred colour combo can also be seen on the ankle, Swoosh and insole. A crisp white midsole with a red outsole finishes the sneaker off, giving the sneaker a classic look. It’s not often that Lows compete with Highs, but these are definitely up there.
Launching in summer 2020 for around €90, you won’t want to miss out on these Jordan 1 Lows. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordans.
