Although rumours of a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” have been circling the sneaker world for almost two years, there’s always been a little doubt as to whether or not the release was real. As the sneaker community starts prepping for the inevitable L on the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 pack, there could be some form of respite. In fact, we now have our first concrete shot from a reputable source that the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Chicago could, in fact, be real.
Previewed by RHUDE founder Rhuigi Villaseñor, we’ve had a glimpse as to what we could expect. Taking the iconic “Chicago” colourway made famous back in 1985, the shoe uses Travis Scott’s design and premium materials throughout. Features like the black reverse Swoosh and waxed laces come as standard, bringing this crazy AJ1 to a close. All we have to do now is hope (and pray) that these are an official release.
As it stands, there is no information or even whispers of a release for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago.” Most sneakerheads will know that La Flame tends to create crazy F&F pairs so this could be one of those. However, there’s always a chance this could be a retail release so sit tight for now. Check out the image and mock-up below and let us know if you’ll cop this Travis Scott Jordan.
