Jordan Brand has been hard at work over the past few months. Whilst COVID-19 may have impacted several release dates, it hasn’t stopped Team Jumpman from dropping a number of high profile sneakers. From Off-White™ Jordans to Air Dior, it’s been a busy start to the new decade. As expected, there are still some surprises to come from Jordan Brand in 2020, with one of those being the Air Jordan High OG “Black Metallic Gold.”
Taking reference from the 2003 Air Jordan 1 Mid that used the same colour scheme, this is already looking like one of the years best Jordan 1s. Black patent leather adorns the majority of this sneaker, creating a slick-looking silhouette. Gold accents on the Swoosh, ankle and Wings logo give this shoe a luxurious look, with a matching tongue tag adding a nice effect. An all-black sole unit comes complete with gold stitching to bring this well-balanced Jordan 1 to a close.
Set to launch in the holiday season for €170, this is going to be a tough cop. Sneakerheads are already getting excited about the release, with some estimating this is going to be a small release. If the 2013 white-soled “Black Metallic Gold” is anything to go by, this will a big payday.
