Over the past few weeks, Hiroshi Fujiwara has been teasing the sneaker world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Japanese designer showed off a closer look at fragment design Nikes that never made it. These fragment design samples have been making quite a bit of noise in the sneaker community. Just as quickly as we have seen one version of a fragment design x Air Jordan 3, we now have a closer look at another.
On foot images of Fujiwara wearing a never before seen fragment Air Jordan 3 have been making the rounds on the Internet. Dressed in a simple black and white colourway, the sneaker updates the iconic Jordan 3 silhouette nicely. Though the images are the greatest quality, a fragment design thunderbolt can be seen on the heel tab, merged with the “AIR” text. Minimal fragment branding can also be seen on the midsole of the Jordan 3. Finishing things off is a black and white sole for good measure.
Rumours are still circulating about whether or not these will release. Some sources claim that the fragment design x Air Jordan 3 will release in fall, though Nike or fragment are yet to confirm the news. It’s more than likely that these are a sample, but let’s just hope that they do eventually drop. Check out the images and mockup below and let us know if you’d cop these fragment design Jordans.
