When Nike revealed the “Sashiko” Dunk earlier this year, few sneakerheads could have predicted the design would end up on the Air Jordan 4. However, it looks as though Nike and Jordan Brand is looking to branch the colourway out across a number of classic silhouettes. Whilst it may not be as subtle as its predecessor, the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Sashiko” is already making a lot of noise. Now, we have a detailed look at the sneaker.
Taking the same construction, the “Sashiko” Air Jordan 4 is already looking like a must cop. The denim-clad sneaker features embroidered pattern throughout, with contrasting white and red thread adding subtle textures. Unlike the Nike Dunk, however, this “Sashiko” embroidered sneaker has a lot more going on. The mismatched design on this upcoming Air Jordan 4 is what set it apart from the Dunk. Everything about these two shoes is different, from the heel tab to the mudguard and even the tongue.
If you like the look of these premium “Sashiko” Air Jordan 4 sneakers, then there’s some bad news. The sneaker is set to release later this season for around €190 at select retailers. Check out the early images below and let us know if you’ll add these AJ4s to your collection.
