Nike is bringing the CO.JP line back in full force for 2020. The reintroduction of classic sneakers like the Nike Dunk Low “Plum” has brought the CO.JP range to a brand new generation of sneakerheads. As the “Metallic Silver” Air Jordan 1 High is set to release in a matter of days, it looks like CO.JP is here to stay. After a 19-year hiatus, Jordan Brand is also bringing back another colourway of the CO.JP Jordan 1s later this year: “Midnight Navy.”
Although the “Metallic Silver” pair may be a grail for many, we think the “Midnight Navy” just edges them. Featuring a white leather base, the upcoming sneaker uses Midnight Navy suede overlays throughout. Metallic Silver Swooshes add a splash of luxury, creating a nice divider between the colours. Subtle features such as “2001” and “2020” behind the tongue commemorate the return of this AJ1. A matching Wings logo plays into the luxury appeal of this sneaker, with a white midsole and navy outsole bringing things to a close.
If you like the look of these upcoming Air Jordan 1s, then there is a little longer to wait. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG CO.JP “Midnight Navy” is rumoured to drop in the holiday season though that is to be confirmed.
