When news that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Court Purple” would be returning in 2021 broke, the sneaker community rejoiced. As one of the original 1985 colourways of the Air Jordan 1, the pair holds a sentimental value for many in the community. Unlike other OG colourways, the “Court Purple” has re-released a few times in recent years. Thankfully, this Air Jordan 1 “Court Purple” is coming back again this year, this time in full-family sizing.
Bearing the same original features as the 1985 pair, the Air Jordan 1 “Court Purple” is already looking like a must cop for us at KLEKT. Premium tumbled leather in a simple white finish makes the perfect base for metallic purple accents to work against. Pain white laces and stitching keep things neutral, allowing the purple to flourish. Dressing just the Swoosh, tongue tag, Wings logo, ankle and solo, the purple features are not too overbearing whilst remaining very prominent. Sometimes less really is more, isn’t it?
As you can see from the PS and TD versions below, these look just as good in miniature as they do in adult sizing. Right now all information points for a June release for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Court Purple”. Prices will be made available nearer the time, but you can expect these to start at €65 and go up to around €170. Check out the kid’s versions below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Jordan 1s.
