For over a decade, sneakerheads around the world have been calling for the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” to get a retro. First released back in 2006, it has remained one of the best non-OG AJ4 colourways of all time. When rumours of the sneaker making a return started circling at the start of the year, the community was excited. Now, it looks as though the “Lightning” Jordan 4 finally has a confirmed release date.
Staying very close to the original pair, the “Lightning” 2021 retro has certainly been done justice. Donning a bright yellow nubuck upper, the shoe features a black mesh and slate grey accents to create a nice contrast. A white midsole with a matching grey sole also helps keep the balance on this vibrant sneaker. Finally, yellow laces work with a grey and white tongue and bring this bold Jordan 4 colourway to a close.
If you like the look of the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” Retro then sit tight. As it stands, the shoe is set to drop on August 28th for €220. It is also expected to arrive in full family sizing, meaning you can cop a pair for the whole fam. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll grab these Jordan 4s.
