When the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” released in 1989, it was an instant hit. Over the past 31-years, the AJ4 White Cement has become an important sneaker in the legacy of Michael Jordan. Whilst His Airness may not have won any rings in the AJ4, it has remained a classic for many sneakerheads. Re-released back in 2016 in OG form, the Jordan 4 “White Cement” could potentially be coming back at some point next in 2021.
Although the story has only just begun to pick up momentum, various sneaker sources are claiming that the White Cement AJ4 will hit shelves in 2021. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design, made famous by MJ, features white leather as well as cement print across the heel tab, ankle and midsole. The classic “Nike Air” is one detail that was missed on previous versions but made a return on the 2016 version. If this news is, in fact, true, then this will be only the fourth time since 1989 that the White Cement AJ4 has come back.
Right now, we have had no official confirmation from Jordan Brand, the rumours are exciting. At the moment, May 2021 seems to be the date that is flying around but we’ll have to wait and see. Check out the 2016 version below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordan 4s.
