Following on from The Last Dance, the sneaker community has been patiently waiting to see the return of classic Jordan sneakers. Shock drops of the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red”, as well as rumours of the “Carmine” 6 returns have helped for now. However, it looks like Jordan Brand is still playing hard to get. Recruiting the classic Bugs Bunny sneaker from Space Jam, we will see the return of the “Hare” Jordan 6 this weekend.
Updated in true style, the “Hare” Jordan 6 looks strikingly similar to the original version from 1995. However, there are a few notable updates. The simple “White” leather makes up the majority of the shoe overlays. Contrasted by “Neutral Grey” on the toe box and side panels, the shoe is a perfect representation of old Bugs Bunny. A translucent tongue, as well as red accents on the mesh and outsole, give this shoe a nice pop of colour.
The details on this shoe are what really help set it apart from the OG, however. Underneath the translucent tongue is a multicoloured pattern which is also seen on the insole. A purple Jumpman logo on the heel, as well as a splash of green towards the heel. Adding to this colourful Jordan 6 is a yellow lace dubrae for good measure.
Launching on June 5th for €190, this is one retro Jordan 6 that you won’t want to miss. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop.
