It’s always a challenge putting a new spin on a classic sneaker, especially when it’s an Air Jordan 11. Over the past few years, Jordan Brand has been working hard on ensuring that it updates its icons without detracting from the DNA of the brand. From commemorative iterations to story laden pairs, it’s safe to say that Jordan Brand has done things correctly. Now, it looks as though an Air Jordan 11 WMNS is dropping later this year featuring multiple animal prints.
Although there is no concrete information right now, a mock-up has surfaced alongside some style information online. According to the first info, the upcoming WMSN Air Jordan 11 will use a black base with a premium suede-like texture. A blacked out Jumpman will appear on the heel, with a red “23” on the heel. Animal prints will then line the mudguard, replacing the usual patent leather found on other pairs. Finally, a white midsole and black sole will round the shoe off, bringing this luxurious AJ11 to a close.
With this being just a rumour for now, we’re going to have to sit tight and wait and see how accurate this pair really is. Although it wouldn’t surprise us if this animal Air Jordan 11 is in the works, we’ll have to let Jordan Brand decide. Check out the mock-up below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Jordan 11s.
