There have been rumours that a Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 has been on the way for a little while now. After a never before seen pair of Travis Scott Air Jordan 1s appeared on La Flame’s feet, many thought it was just a PE. However, when Hiroshi Fujiwara, streetwear godfather and fragment design founder, was spotted in a fragment coloured Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low, many knew it wasn’t just a coincidence. Well, it now looks as though the collaboration is in fact real and may drop this year.
Now, as with any story of this magnitude in the sneaker world, this could just be a rumour. From what we’ve seen so far, the shoe could be a contender for shoe of the year. Taking Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 design, the shoe features the colour blocking found on the fragment design x Air Jordan 1. White, blue, navy and black all work together to create a great looking Air Jordan 1. Premium leather has been used throughout, giving this shoe a luxurious look and feel, whilst other subtle updates include the use of both logos on separate heels, as well as alternating branding on AJ1 tongue tags.
If you like the look of the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1, then sit tight. We’re yet to see any confirmation that the collaboration will actually be releasing. Given how quick the sneaker community is to jump on a rumour, let’s just sit tight for more information. Check out the leaked images below and let us know if you’d cop these Air Jordan 1s.
