There are some colourways in the sneaker world that look good no matter what silhouette they are used on. Whether it’s triple black or “Infrared,” you simply can’t beat a certain colour combination. One of those colourways just happens to be the “Chicago.” Made famous by Michael Jordan in 1985 during his debut season with the Chicago Bulls, the colourway is as important to the legacy of the Bulls as MJ himself. Now, the colourway is getting draped across the SB Dunk.
Featuring almost identical panelling as the Air Jordan 1, the Nike SB Dunk “Chicago” is already causing a lot of hype in the sneaker community. Red, white and black leather all combine to give this SB Dunk a vintage feel. A puffy white tongue is adorned with a red “Nike SB” logo on the tongue, similar to the OG Air Jordan 1. Black laces, complete with a black sock liner, and a black “Nike” logo on the heel. The crisp white midsole features a red outsole and finishes off this Jordan themed SB Dunk nicely.
If you are looking to cop these SB Dunks, you don’t have long to wait. The “Chicago” SB Dunks are scheduled to drop in the coming weeks. An estimated retail price of €100 has been set, but that has yet to be confirmed. For now, you’ll just have to sit tight for more information. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll pick these Dunks.
