There is no sign that the Nike Dunk craze will be going away any time soon. Over the past two years, we’ve seen the classic basketball silhouette given a brand new lease of life. As one of the most iconic pairs in Nike’s basketball arsenal, the Dunk has been a staple in sneaker culture for over 35 years. Thankfully, Nike is continuing to keep things fresh for 2021 with some simple yet effective colourways. One of those dropping soon is the Nike Dunk High “Team Red”.
As you can already see, the OG colour blocking style is what really works on this Nike Dunk High. Opting for a premium cream leather base, the shoe is accented with light burgundy overlays to create a well-balanced contrast. Adorning the Swoosh, mudguards, lace eyelets and heel, the burgundy is a perfect match for the cream. The simple two-tone colouring ensures that this Dunk is subtle, allowing the palette to speak for itself. Sitting atop a cream and light burgundy midsole unit, these could be one of our favourite Dunks so far in 2021.
There are rumours that the Nike Dunk High “Team Red” will actually be a women’s exclusive. However, that’s yet to be confirmed by Nike. Priced at a respectable €110, these are a relative bargain. As for now, take a closer look at the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike Dunks.
