News of a Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 drop has truly shocked the sneaker world. Ahead of the Louis Vuitton Spring 2022 show, which took place in Paris, leaks of Louis Vuitton clad Nike Air Force 1s started surfacing on social media. Virgil Abloh is known for merging the world of high fashion with streetwear, but this latest collaboration could be one of the most memorable we’ve seen.
While news is still breaking, early images of Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1s have cropped up online. Taking the classic silhouette, Abloh has wrapped the shoe in premium Louis Vuitton leather and used the French fashion house’s iconic monogram. Unique Abloh details such as “AIR”, “Lacet” on the lace tips and even co-branded Nike x Louis Vuitton tongue tags are seen throughout.
Various pairs have also started appearing, from vibrant greens to royal blues. It is also reported that 21 different colourways were seen, leading many to believe this is a full-blown Louis Vuitton x Nike collection. If this is true, this could be one of the biggest drops of 2022 and we haven’t even got there yet.
As you can probably imagine, this is huge news in both the sneaker and fashion world. Nike and Louis Vuitton are two of the biggest brands on the planet, LV and the Swoosh are greats in their own right. The combination of the two is nothing short of a hypebeast’s dream collaboration.
