This year has been pretty big for the Nike Air Max fans. Since the start of the year, we’ve seen a number of classic colourways and brand new takes on Tinker Hatfield’s pioneering design. However, when news of the “Powerwall” series making a return began circulating various sneaker sites, things really went up a gear. Following on from the sellout “Limeade” version, it looks as though a Nike Air Max 1 “Strawberry Lemonade” is set to release next month.
Much like the bright green pair, the “Strawberry Lemonade” Nike Air Max 1 is certainly eye-catching. A combination of pink mesh and leather come together on this shoe, with a matching satin tongue adding to the salmon-like sneaker. “AIR” graphics adorn the mid panels but are contrasted by a set of yellow laces. The tongue bears a strawberry, a subtle nod to the history of the Nike Air Max 1 “Lemonade.” Fruit can also be seen on the custom insoles, with strawberries and lemons used throughout. Finally, a white midsole, complete with yellow air unit, and a black outsole bring things to a close.
There’s good news if you like the look of the Nike Air Max 1 “Strawberry Lemonade.” Rumours suggest that the pair will drop on November 4th for €140. Take a closer look at the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AM1s.
