There is no denying that the Nike Dunk Low “Siempre Familia” is a stellar addition to this year’s Dunk roster. After finding mainstream success in 2020, Nike has ensured that the Dunk maintains its hype well in 2021. Over the past seven months, we’ve seen some pretty crazy Dunks. If we’re being honest though, the “Siempre Familia” is one of the more outrageous colourways we can recall.
Paying homage to Latin America, the “Siempre Familia” could well be one of the most creative Dunks this year. Featuring faux snakeskin overlays throughout, the shoe is designed to look like a reptile. A carefully balanced combination of green and black overlays set a slick base, whilst blue, orange, red and green accents add a splash of colour. The blue sockliner works excellently with a white tongue and see-through tongue tag on this Dunk.
However, it’s the smaller details that we absolutely love on this “Siempre Familia” Dunk. A yellow lizard sits on the rear panel, complete with an oversized eye. The Swoosh features traditional patterns too, as well as the insoles bearing the shoe’s name and a skull. Finally, a white midsole and icy blue sole bring this Nike Dunk to a close.
