It’s been an extremely busy year for Nike SB. Since bursting back onto the sneaker scene in January, the Nike SB Dunk Low has become a staple in the footwear community once more. High profile collaborations, limited edition retros and a whole host of new colourways have all helped the Nike SB Dunk get back in the number one spot. Nike has also been experimenting with classic colourways of other sneakers, from the “Shadow” to “Infrared.” Well, it now looks as though Nike SB Dunk Low “atmos Elephant” is on the way.
Although leaked images were shared all the way back in March, many believed that it was either a custom or a mockup. Now, it appears that it was neither. According to multiple sneaker sources, the Nike SB Dunk Low “atmos Elephant” is, in fact, real. Much like the Nike Air Max 1 that it references, the atmos Elephant Dunk is already looking pretty damn good.
Black nubuck has been used on the base and a contrasting white leather on the toe for good measure. The iconic elephant/grey cement print featuring across the shoe, covering everything from the toe, ankle and heel tab. Of course, that’s not all that makes this SB Dunk standout. The jade coloured Swoosh and matching “Nike” on the heel tab add a pop of colour, bringing this slick sneaker to a close.
As for now, a rumoured release date of November has been set, but yet to be confirmed. As always, check back in at KLEKTIVE where we’ll keep you updated on this story. Check out the image below and let us know if you’ll cop the Nike SB Dunk Low “atmos Elephant”.
