Nike has always ensured it creates regional exclusive sneakers. Over the years, certain regions have been able to get some of the rarest shoes on the planet. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere any time soon. This year, Nike had big plans to release some exclusive sneakers in Japan for the Tokyo Olympics. Although the Olympics may be cancelled, Nike is still dropping some limited edition Air Max Tailwind IVs.
Featuring a patriotic colourway, the Nippon Pack Air Max Tailwind IV blends together white, red and burgundy. Large red circles adorn most of the upper, representing the Japanese flag. Other notable details include a mini red Swoosh on the heel with a gold outline. This gold detailing can be seen throughout this shoe, with the sneaker panels all featuring this luxury detail. The “Nike Air” tongue tags have been replaced with “Nippon”, which also features on the heel and insole.
If you’re feeling these Air Max Tailwind IVs, you don’t have long to wait. The shoes are set to release in summer with a retail price yet to be confirmed. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’re feeling these Nike Air Max sneakers.
