Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a number of new iterations of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle. Chitose Abe’s smash hit silhouette has graced the sneaker world in multiple colourways and material makeups. Interestingly the development of the design continues to change too, further proof that the popular sneaker is here to stay. Now, we have a closer look at the upcoming sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sail” ahead of its release later this year.
The simple colourway is arguably the most wearable pair of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle that we’ve seen to date. A combination of white and sail adorns the nylon, suede and leather upper used on the sneaker, opting for a tonal balance that we’re all for. As always, the double-stacked detailing on this sneaker is also a big highlight. Two sets of laces, tongues and midsoles have been used on this sacai x Nike sneaker with a single Swoosh bringing it all together. Sitting atop a gum sole unit, these are looking like a must cop for us.
As things stand, we don’t have much in terms of a release date for the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle “Sail”. Various sources claim that these will be launching in the coming months for €180 so sit tight for the drop. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these sacai x Nike sneakers.
