Whether you love it or hate it, the Nike SNKRS App has become a staple part of the footwear community. For the past three years, the app has seen some of the hottest releases restocked on its anniversary. From scavenger hunts to scratch games, lucky sneakerheads have had the chance to pick up some of Nike’s hottest shoes in a lucky restock. Now, however, it looks like a commemorative SNKRS Day Nike Air Max 1 is on the way this year.
The premium looking Air Max 1 features shades of tan and brown across a luxury leather and a woven mesh. This slick-looking AM1 uses a well-balanced colour combination throughout, with Nike really amping up the quality for this commemorative sneaker. Subtle details like “SNKRS Got ‘Em” on the insole reference the winning notification, with “8 8 20” on the heel nodding to the date of Nike SNKRS Day. An off white midsole features a tan and brown sole unit, with a matching tongue and laces bringing the shoe to a close.
