Born in the streets of New York, Aimé Leon Dore has become one of the hottest brands on the planet. Founded by Teddy Santis in 2014, the label is “America’s version to A.P.C” as one writer put it. Since its inception, Aimé Leon Dore has gone from strength to strength, collaborating with some of the biggest brands on the planet. It’s recent work with New Balance have seen it thrust into the sneaker limelight. Now, it looks as though the two are back working together again,

As with all of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance collabs, the details are slim. A clever lookbook featuring two elderly models decked out in co-branded apparel is the first teaser of what’s to come. On the feet of the models is a New Balance 827; a niche silhouette that is not one of the most obvious choices for a sneaker collab.

Keeping things simple is a white base, which makes the perfect backdrop for the coloured accents to work against. Soft colours have been used, such as reds, greens and blues, complimenting the white base and gum sole well. The New Balance silhouette is perfect for the coming summer months.

Although news on the upcoming sneaker is slim, you can expect the whole collection to drop soon. Until then, we’ll just have to wait.

UPDATE (02/03/20): Teddy Santis, the founder of Aimé Leon Dore, took to Instagram to give us a first look at what the sneaker will look like. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
