Welcome back to the release report, your official guide to the week’s sneaker releases. This week is packed with hype new collabs and colourways for some classic silhouettes from Nike and New Balance.
Air Jordan 1 WMNS High OG Denim – 19/08
These Denim AJ1s are dressed in light blue fabric over a white tumbled leather upper. This pair also features some eye-catching metallic gold Jordan charms on the laces.
Nike Air Max 97 Medium Brown – 19/08
The Air Max 97 is treated to some nice neutral brown tones around its curing upper, with darker shades on the bottom layer of smooth suede, and lighter on the top layer of mesh. Underneath is a full-length translucent Air unit within a white midsole and gum rubber outsole.
Nike x AMBUSH Air Adjust Force Black and White – 19/08
AMBUSH’S Yoon Ahn is back with her take on the 90s basketball sneaker, the Air Adjust Force. Coming in black and white colourways, the chunky silhouette features a leather upper with a removable velcro shroud, featuring the Nike Swoosh in a thick jellied panel. All this sits on a black sole, featuring Nike Grind Rubber and a decorative Swoosh along the outsole.

New Balance x thisisneverthat 2002R Grey – 19/08
The Korean streetwear icons at thisisneverthat are once again teaming up with New Balance. Their take on the popular 2002R features cloudy grey suede over a light mesh, with dark blue accents throughout…
New Balance x thisisneverthat 1906R – 19/08
The second offering from this collab is the new 1906R. The silvery grey mesh upper features accents of navy, and what look like faint dirt or bleach stains. The shoe also features an N-lock lacing system, and borrows the ABZORB-SBS midsole from the 2002R, complete with navy N-ergy heel cushioning.
Nike Air Max 95 ‘Anatomy of Air’ – 20/08
The ‘Anatomy of Air’ pays tribute to Sergio Lozano’s original inspiration for the 95, the human body. The top layers of the upper are done in bone white, gradually shifting to dark reds representing blood and tissue. The Air midsole is done in off-white, and the inside of the tongue features ‘Anatomy of Air’ embroidered in cursive as a finishing touch.
Nike Dunk High Retro SE Stadium Green
These retro Dunk Highs feature a white leather upper with bright green overlays. The side walls include green over black suede Swooshes, with an ‘85’ logo on the tongue referencing the original release of this colourway.
Nike Air Max 1 x Patta Dark Russet
And finally, Patta’s ‘Waves’ series continues with this new AM1 colourway made up of glossy burnt orange leather. As always, the shoe features Patta’s iconic wavy mudguard and silver mesh.
