In streetwear, few brands are as important as Aimé Leon Dore. Since being founded by Teddy Santis in 2014, the New York-born label has experienced tremendous growth. It’s premium take on clothing essentials have enabled it to collaborate with some of the biggest names on the planet. It’s diverse portfolio of collaborators includes the likes of Porsche and New Balance, the latter of which we are seeing more and more of. Thankfully, Santis has revealed the next step in the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance line.
After being teased a number of months ago, we now have our first proper look at the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300 collaboration. As one of the most iconic New Balance silhouettes, the 1300 has remained a favourite for over 35 years. Aimé Leon Dore has elevated the running model above any other 1300 we have seen before. Constructed with premium suede and using simple co-branding, these are looking tasty.
Dropping in two colourways, these Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300s are going to be one of the years best cops. An emerald green 1300 features a traditional white and silver “N” motif on the midsection, with a cream tongue and matching midsole giving this shoe a vintage look. The second colourway is much bolder, using a coral suede with contrasting navy “N” emblem and matching heel tab.
If you like the look of these, then sit tight. For now, we have no further update on when the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300s will drop. Given the timing and hype, we would estimate that they would release sooner rather than later. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Aimé Leon Dore New Balances.
