We may only be in the first week of February but we’ve now seen two pairs of the adidas Yeezy 500 High rumoured for this month. As one of the more divisive Yeezy silhouettes, the 500 High has had its fair share of criticism. However, with the recent “Mist Slate” colourway being much more wearable, it marks a step in the right direction for adidas and Yeezus. Now, it looks as though another tonal pair is on the way in February, dubbed the adidas Yeezy 500 High “Wakaran”.
Much like the “Mist Slate”, the “Wakaran” Yeezy 500 High is simple yet effective. A combination of earth tones run throughout the neoprene, suede and leather used throughout the upper. On the trim, a light grey has been used to create a nice contrast to the upper. Subtle 3M reflective piping also runs throughout the trim and adds a nice touch to this Yeezy. This light grey also leads into the dark grey adiPrene midsole unit and rounds off a well-balanced adidas Yeezy 500 High.
If you like the look of the adidas Yeezy 500 High “Wakaran” then sit tight. As it stands, a release date of February 8th has been rumoured but not confirmed. Just like previous Yeezy 500 Highs, these will also cost €220.
