Since the start of the new decade, Kanye West and adidas have been making big moves. The introduction of more Yeezys has helped Yeezus to become a billionaire. In particular, there looks to be more innovation coming from within the Yeezy camp. In addition to the six new colourways of the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 that were unveiled last week, it looks like there are no signs of stopping there. We now have our first look at a potential “Onyx” iteration.
Although there is no concrete information just yet, reports are suggesting that the “Onyx” Yeezy 380 could release later this year. A combination of black and brown Primeknit make this sneaker completely neutral. Unlike the bolder versions unveiled in May, the “Onyx” takes a simpler approach. In addition to the dark upper, a brown Boost midsole unit has also been included. Finishing the whole thing off is a light brown sock liner and brown rope laces.
There is no confirmation on this Yeezy 380 just yet, but given the reliability of Yeezy Mafia, we can expect this to come true. A potential release could happen in November 2020, but that is subject to change. Estimated to cost around €230, this is one adidas Yeezy 380 you won’t want to miss.
