The adidas Yeezy 500 has been one of the best selling adidas Yeezys of all time. Kanye’s first low top adidas silhouette without a Boost sole was well-received when it dropped back in 2017. When rumours began circulating that a high top version would be dropping late last year, people were sceptical over its success. After the “Slate” version sold out on release day, the sneaker community has been waiting for the next colourway. Thankfully, the long wait is nearly over.
Dubbed the “Tyrian”, the second instalment in the adidas Yeezy 500 is taking a different approach to its predecessor. A purple neoprene panel can be seen against a dark brown suede overlay. The black neoprene tongue is contrasted well by the charcoal adiPrene midsole unit. This clever combination of colour pops and stealthy shades really works on this Yeezy 500. A set of brown laces, complete with a lace lock, finalise the shoe off.
Retailing at €220, these will definitely be a perfect sneaker for the winter months. Check out the official images below and let us know if you plan on copping these Yeezys.
