With the anticipation around the “Chunky Dunky” only building, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting to get their hands on a pair. As one of this year’s most hyped releases, it’s going to be a big day. Although the rainbow box is a real favourite, Nike has really pushed the boat out on the special edition packaging. Unveiled by members of the Nike SB family and close friends of the Swoosh, this is a box we all wish we could cop.
With this being an ice cream themed sneaker, Nike has created a special edition tub for the shoes. Using Ben & Jerry’s tub, Nike has hidden the shoes on the inside. The scaled-up version of the Ben & Jerry’s packaging comes complete with co-branding on the front, as well as the message “Our beloved Nike SB Dunk Low with a good scoop of Ben & Jerry’s.” Oh, did we forget to mention? This packaging comes complete with free Ben & Jerry’s too.
The chances of getting this version of the “Chunky Dunky” are pretty low. However, you can still try and cop the normal version this Saturday and Monday. Check out the images below and let us know which packaging you prefer.
