For nearly 40 years, the Nike Air Force 1 has remained one of the most important silhouettes in the sneaker industry. Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design is as big a part of sneakers as Michael Jordan or Kanye West. There have been some memorable collaborations during that time, but few are as more recognisable as G-Dragon’s version in 2019. Thankfully, it looks as though we could be seeing a second version of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 drop next month.
The second PEACEMINUSONE AF1 takes a negative colour flip to the OG, opting for a subtle change. White paint covers the upper with the same bold colourful print underneath. Just like the first G-Dragon Air Force 1, the more that you wear this sneaker, the more the white paint will wear away. Black Nike Swooshes and laces offer a neutral addition to this sneaker, seamlessly merging the white and multicolour paint together. The white midsole comes complete with black streaks of paint, offering a slick monochromatic division from the upper.
As expected, there are also G-Dragon’s signature details throughout this AF1. The familiar daisy logo adorns the tongue, as well as a multicolour insole that matches the hidden pattern. “PEACEMINUSONE” has been printed along the inside heel, just in case you needed reminding about who this collaboration was by. As for now, we have no news on whether there will be any pins included with this Air Force 1 release, but we’ll just have to sit tight.
Early reports suggest that the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise” will release in September. An estimated retail price of €200 has been set, but that is to be confirmed. Check out the early images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Force 1s.
