When Nike introduced the Air Zoom Type earlier this year, it was a resounding success. As part of Nike’s experimental N.354 line, the shoe is a perfect representation of the Swooshes commitment to developing cutting edge products. Over the past few months, we’ve seen a number of slick colourways of the Air Zoom Type release. Thankfully, it doesn’t look as though Nike is done just yet, dropping a “Hyper Pink” iteration very soon.
Taking the same black suede upper, complete with perforations on the toe, the shoe features leather on the lace eyelets and heel. A printed Swoosh adorns the lateral side whilst a mall “N.354” logo is used on the medial section. What separates this pair from its predecessor is the use of a beige section on the heel, a subtle difference that certainly counts. Bringing the shoe together is a TPU plate across the midsole, showcasing Nike’s love of technology. Finishing this sneaker off are two pink Zoom Air units on the sole, rounding off this well-balanced sneaker.
