Nike is no stranger to Halloween-themed sneakers. Since 1998, Nike has released Halloween sneakers, though its become a regular occurrence over the last 15 years or so. Everything from Air Force 1s to SB Dunks has been given the Halloween treatment, with Nike pushing the design boundaries year on year. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like Halloween Nike’s are going anywhere just yet, with a Blazer Mid “Spider Wed” coming soon.
Dropping as part of Nike’s annual Halloween pack, the upcoming Blazer Mid is subtle in its approach. The all-black sneaker boasts a nylon upper, with a simple grey suede Swoosh being used across the midsection. However, at second glance, there is a hidden detail. Woven into the nylon is a 3M reflective spider web pattern that shines under light. The contrasting lime green heel tab adds a spooky splash of colour to this shoe, with a black midsole, toe and laces bringing this Blazer to a close.
If you like the look of these Halloween-inspired Blazers, then you don’t have long to wait. The sneaker will most likely release next month, though there is no confirmed release date from Nike as of yet. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Blazers.
