Nike has always been inspired by a widely diverse range of sources. Over the past decade years, we’ve seen everything from Mars to Ben & Jerry’s as a theme on sneakers, showing Nike’s commitment to doing things differently. Arguably one of the most unlikely sources, however, is cartoons. Well, that all looks to be changing with the “Doraemon” Nike SB Dunk. After a long wait, the Nike SB Dunk High “Doraemon” is finally dropping.
Continuing the monumental popularity of the SB Dunk, Nike has no plans on slowing down the releases just yet. Set to drop later this month, the “Doraemon” SB is going to be a tough cop. Inspired by the Japanese manga series which bears the same name, Nike SB has decked out the Dunk High in the colours found throughout the series main character. White leather works with blue suede overlays to create an eye-catching shoe. Red accents on the Swoosh and laces add a nice colour pop, whilst the yellow tones on the tongue create a subtle addition.
If you like the look of the Nike SB Dunk High “Doraemon” then you don’t have long to wait. The sneaker is already popping up at sneaker stores overseas, meaning the release date is imminent. Check out the official images from Nike below and let us know if you’ll cop these SB Dunks.
