When it comes to iconic Air Jordans, few come close to the Jordan 12 “Flu Game.” Worn by Michael Jordan as he battled the food poisoning against the Utah Jazz, the “Flu Game” AJ12 is one of the most memorable sneaker moments in MJ’s career. In recent years, we’ve seen the “Flu Game” 12s return a couple of times, but now there’s a difference. It looks as though an Air Jordan 12 “Reverse Flu Game” is scheduled to release later this year.
Taking the same classic colourway, Jordan Brand has pulled a simple flip on the red and black of this sneaker. The traditional black tumbled leather is replaced with a plush red suede making for an eye-catching swap. A black leather mudguard features instead of the usual red leather, with the matching black sole being used instead of red. Although this may be an easy colour swap, we’re personally digging the vibe of this AJ12.
If you like the look of the Jordan 12 “Reverse Flu Game,” then there’s good news. The sneaker is rumoured to drop on December 26th for €190. Whilst there’s no confirmation from Nike just yet, sit tight as more info on this story breaks. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Jordan 12s.
