There is no denying the fact that 2020 has undoubtedly been the year of the Nike Dunk. Over the past nine months, the Swoosh has given us a wide variety of choice on the classic basketball silhouette. We’ve seen everything from collaborations to retros drop, with Nike always keeping us guessing on what’s coming next. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like things are changing any time soon. Strong rumours are circulating that the Nike Dunk High WMNS “Varsity Purple” will drop at some point later this year.
Although there is no confirmation on this story just yet, multiple sources are reporting that the Nike Dunk High WMNS “Varsity Purple” will drop in fall. Originally released in 1999 as part of the “City Attack” pack, the Varsity Purple Dunk is one pair that has remained a grail for many. The simple combination of white and purple throughout is a clear winner, with the premium leather used throughout making this a must cop. However, as you’ve probably realised, there’s a slight problem if you’ve got big feet.
With this being a Nike Dunk High WMNS, the shoes will only go up to an EU44 (UK9.5). If you’ve got big feet, then this is looking like an L. As for now, there’s no drop info or images, so check out the original Nike Dunk High WMNS “Varsity Royal” and let us know if you’ll cop.
