Although news of the Denham x Nike Air Max 95 has been circulating since June, the sneaker community has had to wait almost three months for a release date. In that time, we’ve seen countless teasers, images and in-hand shots, but little to no info on the drop date. Whilst the release is edging closer, it is not here yet. Fortunately enough for footwear fans, the long wait is almost over. The Denham x Nike Air Max 95 will drop next week.
Taking Sergio Lozano’s classic design, Denham has completely transformed the Nike Air Max 95 but kept its OG feel. Putting its spin on the iconic “Neon” colourway, Denham has applied denim all over the iconic running silhouette. Black, grey and cream denim all works together to create a luxury looking sneaker. The beige tongue replaces the traditional white version, with the tan heel tab featuring an embossed “Nike Air” logo for good measure. The finer details are what sets this AM95 apart though.
Much like the Denham x Nike Air Max 1, the insole bears the tools of the fabric trade. Scissors and Swooshes adorn the insole, creating subtle detail that you might miss. However, the sole bears an even bigger secret. Replacing the usual PSI underneath is the phrase “The Truth Is In The Details,” a subtle addition that sets this apart from the OG. We might go out on a limb here and say that the Denham x Nike Air Max 95 may be our favourite.
