In the world of sneakers, there are few pairs that are as iconic as the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon”. Since its first introduction 25 years ago, Sergio Lozano’s divisive Air Max design has become something of a cult classic. Over the past few months, we’ve seen a number of tributes to this silhouette, but there’s been one colourway that we’ve all been waiting for. Now, we have detailed images of the upcoming 2020 version of the “Neon” AM95.
As you would expect, Nike has stayed true to the OG version. The familiar panelling on this sneaker features varying shades of grey nubuck throughout, contrasted by a white mesh on the upper and a thick black midsole unit. A crisp white tongue and sock liner gives this monochromatic Air Max its edge, but its the Neon detailing that brings it alive. The bright green colour pops feature on the lace loops, tongue, insole, Swoosh and, of course, the air units. Housed in the classic grey and black box, this is one Air Max you can’t miss out on this year.
Thankfully, we do have something of a release date for this Air Max 95. According to multiple sneaker sources, December 17th has been set as the drop day, with a retail of €170 being rumoured. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Nike has in store. All we do know is that we need a minimum of three pairs. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon”.
