Whenever Jordan Brand opens a new store, it tends to drop a celebratory sneaker to coincide with the event. From Tokyo to Seoul, the design team at Jordan know how to mark the occasion. In recent years, Jordan Brand has been careful about launching limited quantity sneakers, but this latest pair definitely makes up for it. To celebrate the opening of its upcoming store in the Philippines, a special Air Jordan 4 “Manila” is on the way.
To coincide with the limited nature of the shoe, Jordan Brand has gone big. Premium details have been used throughout the shoe, with ostrich leather and suede adorning the sneaker. Pebbled leather can be seen on the mudguard, adding to the luxuriousness of this Jordan 4. However, the materials are almost forgotten about under the bright green colour. Subtle splashes of yellow can be seen on the heel tab, tab and tongue. A cream and black midsole unit create a nice balance, with waxed laces and leather cages bringing the shoe to a close. Each AJ4 comes individually numbered in an edition of 150 and is housed in a special box.
