Since first being debuted all the way back in February, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most talked-about sneakers of the year. As the first-ever collaboration between a Latin American and Jordan Brand, the shoe is a landmark achievement for both parties involved. Over the past 10 months, we’ve seen a number of leaks and on foot images in the run-up to the release. Now, after a very long wait it seems, this AJ1 is finally dropping this week.
Inspired by J Balvin’s own colourful personality, the “Colores y Vibras” Air Jordan 1 is certainly eye-catching. A combination of multicoloured panels works to create one of the brightest AJ1s ever made. Constructed in canvas and featuring jagged detailing across the upper, the shoe is far from a typical Jordan 1. Exposed foam on the tongue gives this shoe another talking point, although it’s the J Balvin signatures that make this Jordan. Smiley faces, removable patches and Jumpman logos add to this bold Jordan, with a pink midsole rounding things off nicely.
If you like the look of the upcoming J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 “Colores y Vibras”, then good luck. The sneaker is rumoured to be made in extremely limited numbers, making this one of the most exclusive AJ1s this year. Check out the on-foot images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Jordans.
