Over the past four years, Off-White™ and Nike have created some of the most sought after sneakers in history. After first joining forces in 2017 to launch “The 10”, many sneakerheads were excited to see what else was to come from the partnership. Since then, we’ve seen more than 40 sneakers, countless apparel and even some crazy accessories. Thankfully, it doesn’t look as though things are changing any time soon. No, in fact, we could be seeing seven more Off-White™ x Nike sneakers on the way.
You will have read yesterday here on KLEKTIVE that Virgil Abloh is set to launch a book with Nike called ICONS. The book documents Abloh’s work with Nike on The Ten as well as a number of key archival pieces from the partnership. Alongside the book release, which takes place globally later this month, Abloh updated his “Public Domain” website to coincide with the event. In the process, he also happened to reveal more sneakers are releasing.
Up first is the Air Jordan 1 “Canary Yellow”; a sample revealed at the 2018 “Figures of Speech Exhibit”. Much like the previous Off-White™ AJ1s, this is gonna be a tough cop. Alongside these, we have a look at two Off-White™ Air Force 1s in a “University Gold” colour scheme, as well as two Futura x Nike Dunk Lows. Finally, there are two Off-White™ x NikeCourt Flare 2 PEs made exclusively for Serna Williams.
As for now, there’s no release info on these drops. Each shoe features the words “ACTUALLY PENDING” underneath, so that is a positive at least. With “The 20” rumoured to be on the way in 2021, maybe we’ll be seeing a lot more of Virgil Abloh and Nike. Check out the first images below and let us know which pair is your favourite.
