All the way back in August, we saw our first glimpse of the sacai x Nike Blazer Low. Previewed during the sacai SS21 show, Chitose Abe gave us a closer look at the first two colourways. Since then, it’s been pretty quiet in terms of a release date and some detailed images. However, that’s all changed in the last few weeks. In fact, we now have leaked imagery of the two upcoming sacai x Nike Blazer Low sneakers which will drop later this year.
Much like the 2019 version, the sacai x Nike Blazer Low will use double-stacked detailing, transforming the 1977 basketball silhouette entirely. Dropping in “Magma Orange” and “Classic Green”, these are perfect for the approaching warmer months. A leather upper is complete with overlapping Swooshes on the midfoot in alternating colours. Two tongues come as standard, as does two sets of lace eyelets and two sets of laces. Interestingly, the low top version comes with a straight cut across rather than a curved shape. Co-branded tongue tags, as well as the layered sole unit, bring the sacai x Nike Blazer Low to a close.
As for now, there’s no official release date on the sacai x Nike Blazer Low drop. All we do know is that these could be better than the High top versions that dropped in 2019. Much like all sacai x Nike releases, these are going to be tough to cop. Check out the detailed images below and let us know which is your favourite colourway.
