Over the past few months, we’ve seen the hype around the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” slowly start to build. Returning with “Nike Air” on the heel, the OG is finally coming back. After it was announced it would be returning back in November, sneakerheads have been patiently waiting for the shoe to drop. Well, that date may not be just yet but there is some good news at least. We now have official Nike imagery of the shoe ahead of its release next week.
Staying as close to the 1991 original as possible, the 2021 Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is almost identical to the OG. Taking the familiar white leather overlays and crimson nubuck base, the shoe is reflective of the Chicago Bulls. Black accents on the tongue, midsole and heel create a perfect balance on this AJ6. Of course, it is the “Nike Air” on the heel that has got sneakerheads really excited. For Jordan 6 fans, these are a must cop.
Right now the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is scheduled to release on February 13th in full family sizing. Adult prices will be €225, making this one of the more expensive AJ6 retros to cop. With this being identical to the OG, we’re not sure that price will have an effect. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AJ6s.
