All the way back in October, two pairs of the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid were revealed to the world. The Japanese clothing label has since been working behind the scenes to ensure the collaboration is perfect. Whilst it’s been relatively quiet in terms of a release date, the hype for the strange-looking Nike Blazer has grown amongst avid collectors. Well, after months of waiting, we now have confirmation that the READYMADE Blazers will release this month.
Since being founded in 2013 by Yuta Hosokawa, READYMADE has worked with the likes of Fear of God in and more in just eight short years. For its collaboration with Nike, READYMADE has reconstructed the Blazer Mid from the ground up. A distorted Swoosh on the midsection is the most noticeable detail on this pair of Blazers, and for good reason. The camouflage pattern used throughout both pairs is contrasted by contrasting black or white panelling, but that’s not all.
Updated heel tabs feature “READYMADE” with three Swooshes creating a recycled sign. Another key feature on this shoe is the midsole section and toe which have a textural effect on there. Interestingly, this collaboration comes with special edition packaging and two-tone laces; more details that we can get behind for this Blazer collab.
If you like the look of the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid colourways, then there’s good news. The two shoes will drop on February 27th for €160. Check out the images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Nike Blazers.
