Back in 2003, Mark Smith teamed up with Nike to drop a “Laser” Air Force 1. The sneaker, reminiscent of engraved wood grain, quickly became a grail for many sneakerheads around the world. Over the past 18 years, there have been a number of laser Nike sneakers. From Air Jordan 4s to Dunks, the laser treatment has become a part of Nike’s DNA. Now, it looks as though a special Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” is dropping very soon.
Taking a natural aesthetic, the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” is very unique. Constructed from one piece of tan leather the sneaker features an intricate wood-grain style pattern throughout. Slick details on the surface include swirls to striping, entirely inspired by the look of wood in nature. The laser-etched Swoosh, Nike Air and Air Max are very cleverly done, blending into the shoe perfectly. White laces create a nice balance and give the shoe a natural look and are perfectly paired with a white midsole and cream sole.
If you like the look of the Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” then there’s good news. According to multiple sources, the pair will release in the coming weeks for just €150. Check out the official images below and let us know if you’ll cop these Air Max 90s.
